About THE HATING GAME:

When man-eater Mattie Johns agrees to star on a dating game show to save her ailing recruitment business, she's confident she'll sail through to the end without letting down the perma-guard she's perfected from years of her love 'em and leave 'em dating strategy. After all, what can go wrong with dating a few losers and hanging out long enough to pick up a juicy £2000,000 prize? Plenty, Mattie discovers, when it's revealed that the contestants are four of her very unhappy exes. Can Mattie confront her past to get the prize money she so desperately needs, or will her exes finally wreak their long-awaited revenge? And what about the ambitious TV producer whose career depends on stopping her from making it to the end?

Blog Award and Gratitude

What better news on a blizzard-watch day... I was given this bright and cheerful award by Margo Kelly. Thanks girl! Check out her great blog.

To pass on the good karma here are five blogs I'm passing the award to. Check them out!
1.Samantha Bennett
2.Theresa Milstein
3.Phoenix
4.Lola Sharp
5.Tammigirl

And with Thanksgiving looming (I'm hosting dinner for the masses) I thought I'd list some things I'm grateful to God for.
A cozy house, a good man, my 3 sons and all of my huge, expansive family, friends, good books, hard working people who make the world a better place, organic and healthy food, running water and indoor plumbing, music, hot cocoa on a snowy or wet day, my writers group Writers Cubed, classic films, yoga, wise teachers, new couches, paid off mini-van, black nail polish, charities, the coast, camping, redwood trees, yummy smells, soft bed, the good surgeons at Shriners and Primary Childrens' hospital, second chances, holidays, my country, my health, and the trials that have made me stronger. And that's just the tip of the iceberg of "gratitudeness". (=

Stay tuned for another great $70 CSN Giveaway for you to spend just in time for the holidays!

Writers Cubed-- New Website!

A couple of years ago I joined a writers group of amazing and talented people. With their support and passion I've been able to finish several drafts of my novel, start a sequel and really dig into the biz of writing. I have learned so much from the group. Each person contributes with unique strengths and with a style all their own. Not only are we babes who write, but we sing, play, laugh and pull all nighters like nobody's business. We love writing and we love each other. It has been an incredible journey. Writing can be a solitary enterprise. Finding like-minded people to bounce things off of and to "have my back" has made the creative process so collabortaive and fun that sometimes I forget that it is hard work!

Our group, Writers Cubed has just launched our website http://writerscubed.com/ . Our mission statement is:

"To become better writers through collaborative practice and study, to encourage perseverance by combating self-doubt, and to validate members and other writers by helping them realize and achieve their full writing potential."

Currently, we are putting together an exciting Teen Authors Bootcamp for Spring 2011, where young writers can mingle with authors and learn from gifted professionals in a series of little power-up classes. There will be activities, food and plenty of fuel for the creative fires of young and upcoming writers. More on this to come.

Check out our new website Writers Cubed and follow our blog.
Keep on writing!
