D is for DISABLE

 DISABLE WORD VERIFICATION!

You write a pithy comment on somebody's blog.

Then an annoying window pops up. Sometimes you have to type in a nonsense word a few times before you can post your comment.

Sometimes you click away from the comment box before you realize it didn't post. So you have to comment again. Or give up and go away.

To be more blogger friendly--Disable the annoying box. There are other Spam gaurds that work great.

Happy Commenting!

I try to be easy to get along with.

But word verification is such a pain. I will write half the word when something snatches my cursor somewhere else. Aggggh!

You have tapped my secret thorn in the cyber-flesh, Jo. Thanks, Roland

Not too far back I took mine off and immediately had lots of porn sites advertised (special treat for my readers). But now Blogger does get the spam and none gets through, so go ahead, you can trust Blogger - disable :-)

Wordpress could use a captcha, to be honest. If you use their akismet, you sometimes lose GOOD comments. -.- I have two that I can't get to, and the last three it took were from other AtoZChallengers. It was rather upsetting. I approved those, but now I can't get to the recent ones.

I used to use it, but I've disabled it for this challenge, and probably will leave it disabled.
