Writers Workshop

I got a writing prompt from Mama Kat. The ULTIMATE HONEY DO list. Ten things I would looove my hubby (Clark Schaffer) to do for me:

1. Send me to Scotland with my writing group.

2. Finish the floor in the kitchen.

3. Replace the broken dish washer.

4. Take me and the kids to Disney World.

5. Finish landscaping the yard.

6. Make a book trailer for my novel.

7. Take me to Prince Edward Island, Morocco, and India.

8. Buy me new couches for the family room.

9. Daily hugs and kisses.

10. Keep being his fabulous self. (=

This was actually hard...I'm sorta low maintenance by nature and some of these are kinda big things that I can live without...but it would be nice!

Oh, I know you meant take me on a big trip with my sisters, right? I am sure your writers group is fabulous, but girl, if you are going far with a group of people make it the crazy people you are stuck with for eternity, you know it would be fun! I will just assume that you have talked about Scotland with your writing group and it was a slip of the pen...... :) Love you!

I pine away for the talent to make a book trailer for FRENCH QUARTER NOCTURNE.

That of all the requests to your husband speaks to me. You could post it on your blog as well as YouTube, getting twice the exposure.

From what I've come to know of you from your blog and mine --if he just does #9 and #10, you will be happy.

Thanks for dropping by my blog and commenting. And yes, it amazes me how so many women can be attracted to bad boys, then turn to me later sobbing, "He was bad to me."

Duh. He was a bad boy.

But bad boys project the illusion of protection and provision -- when essentially they are just selfish.

Thanks for dropping by my blog and commenting. It means a lot, Roland

Hey, Jo! Thanks for stopping by my blog today--great list! My writer's group actually had a mini-meet in Scotland then Wales in 2008 and it was FABULOUS! (we're an international bunch so we'd never met face to face)

Scotland would be nice. . . yes? I say he just fulfill that one wish and we'd all be happy! Of course, I get the couches and new kitchen floor thing too. Your home has to feel like a wonderful place to be. Of course, with you in it, that's all you need. :-)
