A Bite of Brownie

Sometimes a bit of chocolate goes a long way. Here I am eating some of my whole grain, agave sweetened brownies...a totally guiltless pleasure. Recently I have been thinking a lot about that. It is possible to have both discipline and fun. It is too bad the world is careening out of control in pursuit of pleasure no matter the cost. Look where it has taken us. Every vice is born of self indulgence.
Can't we all just indulge responsibly? I submit that we can-with some forbearance, a little brains, a little ingenuity, and an open mind- we can find a delicious solution.
Give me the right brownie and nobody gets hurt.

Love it! And love your cooking. I'd die for your chocolate creations, but I'd kill for your apple crisp. That's right, m-u-r-d-e-r, but I'd probably be the corpse since I can't ever stop eating it once I start. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, snack, snack-snack, dinner and late night and mid-night fix. I seriously like you for who you are, not for the apple crisp...really...

You made brownies and didn't call us? Wow, I thought that we were friends. lol. I really enjoy the dark pleasures in life....some use the cacao bean for medicinal use. While I craved chocolate about seven times per week....at least.

I "whole" heartedly agree! pure "unadulterated" chocolate is the best! We certainly know how to enjoy life with out guilt in the morning!
